Jose Maria Mosqueda was born on September 20, 1935 in Edinburg, Texas. He was called home to our Lord on January 11, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Librado Reyes Mosqueda, Sr and Petra Juarez Mosqueda, sisters Susana J. Mosqueda, Concepcion J. Luna ( Roy Luna Sr.) of Angleton, Tx and brothers Benino J. Mosqueda, Sr (Gloria Soria Mosqueda). Genaro J. Mosqueda of Angleton, Irineo J. Mosqueda of Houston, Tx Grandparents Jose Maria Mosqueda, Sr, Victoria Maria Reyes Mosqueda, Brigido G. Juarez, Adelina Cantu Davila Juarez. He is survived by sisters; Helen Mosqueda, Patsy (Roy) Anderson of Angleton, Tx, San Juana (David) Amador of Wharton, Tx and brothers Abundio J. (Sarah) Mosqueda of Dickenson, Librado J. (Elida) Mosqueda, Jr, Ascension J. (Josephine) Mosqueda and Augustine J. Mosqueda of Angleton Jose was a bachelor who enjoyed traveling, had a brilliant mind and was self-educated. He called himself " a rambling man who could go anywhere the railroad went." He loved writing letters, most especially to express his opinion on political issues. Jose always stayed true to his Catholic faith. He loved all of his special nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday January 31, 2018 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.
