Jose Victor Barrera-Gonzalez, 67, of Holiday Lakes, went home to his Lord and Savior on November 27, 2022. Jose began his life journey on December 7, 1954, in Tamaulipas Mexico when he was born to parents Donato and Magdalena (Gonzalez) Barrera. Jose married Mirna Silva on April 28, 1979 in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas. Jose was a hardworking man who rarely sat still. He could always find a project to work on and loved working outdoors. He enjoyed good music and time with family and friends. Those that preceded him in death include his parents: Donato Barrera Ramirez & Magdalena Gonzalez Barrera & his son Jose Victor Barrera, Jr. Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Mirna Barrera; children: Edgar Barrera and wife Paola, Mirna Berenice Barrera and husband Bobby Zamora; daughter in law Elena Barrera; brothers: Juan Amando Barrera and Rene Orlando Barrera; grandchildren: Alejandro, Bianca, Sofilla, and Amilia; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home with Deacon Luis Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Service Details.
