Joyce Aline Holder Funeral services for Joyce Aline Holder, 72, of Holiday Lakes will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Palms Funeral Home. Joyce Aline Holder was born Aug. 18, 1943 in Freeport to Lillie and Jesse Mitchell and passed away April 10, 2016 in Galveston. She lived in Holiday lakes since 1978, a member of Chapter 3147 with Woodman of the World, from 2010-2015 held several officer positions, and 2015-present was the President of Chapter 3147. She was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Holder, parents, brother, Frank Mitchell and Grandson Christopher Hebert. Joyce is survived by her children, James Hebert (Rachel) of Brookeland, TX, JoAnna Atkinson of Angleton, Jena Schofield (Nicholas Marshall) of Angleton, TX, Jeff Hebert (Tammy) of Brookeland, TX, step-children, William Holder, David Earl Holder, Joe Dean Holder all of OK, sister, Norma Browning of Richwood, TX, grandchildren, Jami Soileau, Jenni Wilman, James Atkinson, Joshua Atkinson, Jeremy Atkinson, NaTasha Schofield, Tiffany Robertson, Trevor Henderson, Trista Hitchcock, Jeffrey Hebert, Jr., Alex Collier, Dustin Hebert and 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Atkinson, Marvin Browning, Teryl Browning, Chris Browning, Keith Browning, and Ronnie Mitchell.
