In Loving Memory Of Juan Luis Cardenas February 13, 1981 ~ June 15, 2023 Juan Luis Cardenas, 42, of Danbury, Texas passed away on Thursday, June, 15, 2023 in Galveston, Texas. He was born in Colima, Mexico to his parents: Jose Maria Cardenas and Guillermina Rodriquez on February 13, 1981. Juan loved Jesus Christ and his ultimate goal in life was to make sure you did too. He loved to praise the Lord. He loved to sing. He helped out people anywhere he could, as that was his calling and ministry in life. It wasn't a big deal for him to pull his wallet out and pay for 15-20 people's meals at a time. Juan enjoyed helping out in the youth ministry, as he had a soft spot for children in his heart. He was a really great brother and family man. He took amazing care of his mother, Guillermina. Juan loved history and when time permitted him to travel, he loved to visit historical markers with his mom. He couldn't fish, even though he gave it his best shot. He absolutely hated Halloween but loved Christmas. His favorite movie was "A Christmas Story" recalled, his brother Angel. Left to cherish Juan's memory are his mother Guillermina Rodriguez, his brothers: Gerardo Cardenas (wife, Francisca), Angel Cardenas (wife, Rosa) and Fabian Salazar ( wife, Irma). Awaiting Juan's arrival in Heaven was his father, Jose Maria Cardenas. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home located at 2300 East Mulberry Angleton, Texas 77515. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Palms Funeral Home. Juan will be laid to rest at Danbury Cemetery located at 5830 11th Street Danbury, Texas 77534.
