In Loving Memory Of Judy Jo DeVries January 31, 1946 ~ February 18, 2022 Judy Jo DeVries, 76, of Angleton, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 18, 2022 in Angleton, Texas. She was born in Peru, Indiana (Miami County) on January 31, 1946 to her parents: Ernest W. and Norma (Webber) Garner. Judy was known to everyone as "Grandma D" or "Sunshine". She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Judy was a charter member of the Catholic Daughters, serving for 45 years. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Judy was one of the longest employed employees of Angleton ISD. She served as a Bus Driver for many years to retire and returned back to Angleton ISD as a Substitute Teacher after her retirement. Judy loved walking miles and miles all over Angleton. She never met a stranger, and she absolutely loved Bingo. Left to cherish Judy's memory is her husband, Henry DeVries, III., daughters: Michelle Garza (Rene) and Denise Strickland (Vince), sister, Sheila Noland, her brothers: Butch Garner and Randy Garner, her grandchildren: Crystal Ellis, Brandon Ellis, Brittany McGill and Chase Strickland. Also left to cherish Judy's memory are her precious 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass for Judy will be Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Most Holy Trinity beginning at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Angleton Cemetery. The family will welcome friends for a time of visitation at Palms Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 23,2022 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. Serving as Pallbearers will be Butch Garner, Vince Strickland, Brandon Ellis, Ronnie DeVries, Chris DeVries and Mitchell Craven. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Judy's name to either Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church located in Angleton, Texas or Angels Care Hospice located in Bay City, Texas.
