Julia "Judy" Parsons

Julia "Judy" Sides Parsons went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 4, 2021. Judy was born on February 12, 1939 in Goose Creek, Texas to Leonard Morris Sides and Odessa Elizabeth Odom Sides. Judy was married to Billy Ray Parsons on February 1, 1957 and was preceded in death by her beloved husband after 55 years of marriage and also her parents and son, Kenneth Ray Parsons. She resided in Danbury, Texas. Judy was the quintessential mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord her God and ensured that her family knows God and has a relationship with Him. Judy ministered to others through music as she sang in churches, nursing homes, and prisons through the years and helped others in their walks with Christ. She and Bill were charter members of Liverpool Friends Church, and they loved their church family. Judy is survived by daughters, Kim Corona and husband, Mike of Angleton; and Ginger Davenport of Angleton; sons, Jeffery Parsons and wife, Deborah of Danbury; Cameron Parsons and wife, Pamela of Angleton; grandchildren, Johnathon Eakin and wife, Kandi; Kassie Parsons; Christopher Duby and wife, Britnee; Savannah Schroeder and husband, Matt; Lauren Valdez, Harley Brookshire and wife, Frannie; Carter Heckethorn and Autumn; and Dax Parsons; great-grandchildren, Suzi, Samuel, Dinny, Ethan, Aleisha, Elizabeth, Matthew, Kylie, Falyn, Jace, Jude, and Presley; and her precious dog, Molly. A graveside service will be held at the Danbury Cemetery on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 4:00 pm with Pastor Shelley Rouse of Liverpool Friends Church officiating with interment to follow. Pallbearers are Mike Corona, Carter Heckethorn, Johnathon Eakin, Harley Brookshire, Matt Schroeder, and Dax Parsons. Final arrangements are by Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX.
