Julian Gomez Soria

Julian Gomez Soria, 87 of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, August 4, 2017. A Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 12:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Luna, parents Jose & Maria Soria, Step-sons Esiquiel Damian & Tommy Damian, brothers; Trini, Galeo, Porfirio, Johnny & Gonzalo Soria, sisters; Mary Hernandez, Nieves Soria & Dolores Davis. He was born on January 7, 1950 in Angleton, Texas. In 1950 he graduated from AHS where he played football. In 1951 he enlisted in the US Army. In 1955 he and his wife moved to Houston where they raised their children. Left to cherish his memory are his sons and daughters-in-law Julian (Cynthia), Henry (Gilda), Daniel (Deanna), Hector (Veronica) daughters; Anna (Joe) Ochoa, Linda (Ray) Gonzales, Stepchildren; Lewis Damian (Pauline), Richard Luna (Marlene), Nieves Damian, brother & sisters-in-law George (Delfina), Sam (Rafe), sister Hope Botello. He will be remembered by his family and friends as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand. We love you Dad and we will always treasure your memory.
