Kenneth Ross Cosme Sr., a lifelong resident of Angleton, TX died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2nd at the age of 55. Kenneth was born in Freeport, Texas on June 26, 1965 to the late Mary Trevino Cosme and Ignacio Cosme. A loving father, grandfather and friend to so many. He was a 1984 graduate of Angleton High School. Over the years, Kenneth remained connected to his cousins, classmates and friends. He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan always ready for the next football game. Kenneth was known as Coach Cosme coaching his children throughout their childhood at softball, soccer and baseball. He had a love for the games and a passion for developing winning strategies. Kenneth was his children's biggest fan and he has left them with the gift of his friendliness, competitive nature and witty personality. Kenneth was often found at his favorite hangout, El Patio Mexican restaurant in Angleton enjoying the food, drinks and company of so many. He was typically the entertainment of any event. He was loved for the way he kept us laughing by playing jokes and sharing his funny stories. He also enjoyed golfing, dancing, scratch off lottery tickets and time spent with his children and grandchildren. Kenneth will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #5155. Kenneth is survived by his children, Nicole (Jason) Bowen, Kenneth Jr. (Aimee) Cosme, Adrianna (Pablo) Sustaita, sisters Olga Moya, Carmela (Eric) Tedrick, Aunt Olivia (Livi) Trevino, grandchildren, Aubryana, Amarie, Andruw, Kenneth III, Elias, Natalee, Mariana and his extended family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 14th, 2020, at 10 a.m., with a rosary beginning at 9:30am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, TX followed by a private graveside burial at Angleton Cemetery. Mass will be limited to 125 maximum capacity. A live stream will be made available for viewing on the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Angleton, TX Facebook Page. A Come and Go reception will be held on Friday, August 14th from 1-4pm at El Patio Mexican restaurant in Angleton. This will allow family and close friends to share a brief moment of condolences with Kenneth's family keeping in mind that we must abide by the current COVID-19 protective practices.
