Kristin Ashley White

Kristin Ashley White, 31, a cherished soul who found beauty in every brushstroke of life, will be fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for those around her. Born on July 25, 1992, in Galveston, TX, Ashley’s artistic flair extended beyond her role as a cosmetologist, as she painted the world with kindness and compassion.

Throughout her life, Ashley found solace in expressive pursuits such as journaling, delighting in the serenity of the beach, and mastering the art of cooking. She reveled in carefree moments at the putt-putt golf course with family, often celebrating victories with handstands. Bowling outings, travels to new destinations, and leisurely floats down the river were some of her cherished pastimes. A true water enthusiast, Ashley’s love for singing and the color pink reflected her joyful and vibrant personality. She will be forever remembered as “My Princess” by her mother, Christie.

In a selfless act of generosity, Ashley chose to donate her organs, allowing others the gift of life in honor of her beloved Nay Nay, Renee White.

She was a devoted daughter to her parents, Jonathan David "JD" White, Jr., and Christie Barrick Cox (husband, Jerry). She was a beloved sister to Jonathan (wife, Reiney), Austin, Rachel, Garrett, Ciara (husband, Ray), Stephanie, and Heather. Her memories will forever be cherished by her grandfather, David White, grandmother, Jill Darst, and aunts and uncles - Brandy & JT Pena, Dawn Miller, Helen Hooper, Michelle Kemp (husband, Kyle), and Randy Wade. She also leaves behind her nephews; Lincoln, Sawyer, and Wyatt.

Ashley joins her late Nay Nay, Renee White, Paw Paw, James White, Grandfather, Ralph Barrick, Grandma Kitty, Great-Grandma Godrich, and Great-Grandfather Inglehart in Heaven, leaving behind a legacy of love and light.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Nathaniel Pena, Brittany Pena, Krysta Hampson, Vanessa Strother, and Lowrie Smith will carry her spirit onwards.

The celebration of Ashley’s life will be woven into two special ceremonies. The Funeral Service will take place at Palms Funeral Home on April 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Prior to this, a Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home at 11:00 am on the same day.

As we honor Ashley’s memory, her devotion to artistry, family, and spreading joy will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her radiant spirit forever shine bright in our hearts as we reminisce on a life lived beautifully and unapologetically.

In honor of Ashley, friends are welcomed to join the family in wearing pink to honor our pretty pink princess.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Ashley’s name, to any mental health or addiction charity foundation of your choosing.
