Dr. Larry Parker, OBGYN and philanthropist, changed his address from Lake Jackson to Heaven on August 7th, 2019 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He was born to David and Vermel Parker on July 23rd, 1959 in Rochester, NY. Dr. Parker is survived by his wife Venessa Parker, their three sons, Brayden, Zane and Levi, son, Larry Parker, Jr., daughters Afton Parker and Katelyn Hust, brother, Dr. David Parker, sister, Cynthia Parker, other family and a host of children he delivered! He was preceded in death by both parents. Larry was a dedicated husband and father, who instilled strong morals and values in all his children. His sense of humor will be missed. Larry loved coaching and watching sports, especially football. He was always thinking of innovative business ideas. He was a confident surgeon who remained calm in the most complex situations and inspired those who he worked with. He was a man who loved God, cared about his patients, and served many who needed a helping hand.
