He was born on November 19, 1964 to Larry Lynn Linscombe, Sr. and Norma (Simar) Linscombe in Layette, Louisiana. A Celebration of Larry's life will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brazoria County Fair Ground Auditorium. Larry had a long and prestigious career in Law Enforcement that begin in May 1984 - March 1986 - Clute Texas Police Department ~ Communications Officer / Identification Officer, March 1986 - July 1989 - Wharton Texas Police Department ~ Patrol Officer, July 1989 - September 1993 - Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission - Enforcement Agent ~ Galveston District Office, September 1993 - October 2005 - Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission - Enforcement Agent ~ Brazoria County Field Office, October 2005 - January 2008 - Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission - Sergeant ~ Amarillo District Office, February 2008 - October 2009 - Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission - Sergeant ~ Richmond Field Office, November 2009 - June 2015 - Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission - Lieutenant (Retired) ~ Corpus Christi and Victoria Area Offices, May 2015 to present - Alderman - City of Danbury. He obtained a Bachelors of Arts - Humanities & Pre-Law University of Houston-Clear Lake, 2003 - 2005, as well as had many years of volunteering with Volunteer Firefighter/Medic, Danbury Volunteer Fire Department November 1982, Volunteer Firefighter, Wharton Volunteer Fire Department April 1986, Brazoria County Child Fatality Review Team, Brazoria County - September 1998. Larry is survived by his Father Larry Lynn Linscombe, Sr., Mother Norma Simar Linscombe, Daughter Kristine Spurgeon [Michael Spurgeon, husband], Grandchildren, Trevor Kuchar, Mackenzie Spurgeon, Madison Spurgeon, Lauren Spurgeon, Daughter Lacie Linscombe [Chase Bieri, other], Grandchildren, Cameron Bieri, Sister Vicki Coleman [Ron Coleman, husband], Nephew; Samuel Linscombe, Brother Patrick Linscombe, Nephew; Dalton Linscombe, Niece; Breana Linscombe. He was preceded in death by, Grandfathers, Canvy Otha Linscombe and Clifton Simar, Grandmothers, Edith Pearl Linscombe and Gladys Dronet.
