Larry Wayne Mann

Larry Wayne Mann, 65, of Rosharon, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marlene Mann. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years, Sharon Mann, daughter, Tina Brooks and husband Ben; stepsons, Jesse Dodd and wife, Joanna, Justin Dodd and wife, Krystle; grandchildren, Tyler Brooks and Hayden Brooks; step-grandchildren Calan Dodd, Hailey Dodd, Corina Dodd, Alice Dodd, and Diana Dodd; great granddaughter, Teagen Brooks; siblings, Jack Mann and Cindy Mann, and a host of other family and dear friends. Larry was born in Freeport, Texas, on June 26, 1955. He was a wonderful provider for his Family and enjoyed his work as a Welder. Larry could always be found outside, hunting, fishing, building in his shop, or doing work with his tractor. He liked trying exotic seafood and traveling, especially going on cruises. Larry put a smile on everyone's face and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry's health declined about 10 years ago. Since 2015 Larry has suffered with many health setbacks, a heart transplant, dialysis, CIDP, a disease that landed him in a wheelchair. Despite all these setbacks, Larry continued to have a smile on his face throughout all the pain. Larry will be missed by many, and he has left a lot of memories to be cherished. God chose him on April 16, 2021 to live pain free. A Celebration of Life for Larry will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at The Oaks at Oak Plantation, 19706 FM 521, Rosharon, TX. 77583. The Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 pm and Dinner will be served at 4:00 pm. Service Details.
