She was born on October 16, 1931 in Austin, Texas to Thomas C. and Velma F. (Baker) Johnson. Memorial services are pending at this time for a later date. Left to cherish Laura's memory is her husband, Lee Fred Dannhaus, her son, Thomas Dannhaus, her daughter and son-in-law; Larenda and Henry Nicar, her step-sister, Tommie Ann Green, her step-mother, Norma Johnson, her grandchildren; Harley Nicar (wife, Dana) , Nikia Nicar (husband, Justin Willis), Michelle Brannon, Brent Brannon, and Chase Layton (wife, Holly) as well as, her four great-grandchildren; Emma Jacobs, Patrick Jacobs, Haley Nicar, and Fisher Nicar. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas C. and Velma F. (Baker) Johnson, and her daughter, Regina Dannhaus.
