Laura "Alice" Curry, 87, of Angleton, Texas unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Angleton, Texas. Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, T.W. Curry, two stepdaughters Linda Robinson and Carol Curry, and her grandson, Kim Rouse. Left to cherish her memory are her step-daughters; Marlene Curry Danford and Ann Curry Rouse, her grandchildren; Michael Willy, Toni DuBose, Robin Caudle, Mark Willy, Eric Willy, Dale Robinson, Donald Robin son Susan Norris, Sam Robinson, Roxanne Rouse and Suzanne Saxon, her special friend, Toni Hanson, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Alice was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She earned a Registered Nursing degree from Duke University desiring to always take care of people. She kept that certification active throughout her life. After marrying T.W. Curry, she joined his business and became a Tax Accountant. She was very passionate about her work saying "Every dollar represents something important in each life of her clients." Alice's other activities included being very active in her church, First Presbyterian Church of Angleton as a Trustee, choir member, & Treasurer of Presbyterian Women. She was a member of Texas Association of Financial and Tax Specialist, National Association of Enrolled Agents, National Society of Accountants, Business & Professional Women's Club. She loved music, traveling the world, and was an avid reader. Alice's faith was always a large part of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make donations to First Presbyterian Church of Angleton (130 South Arcola Street Angleton, Texas 77515) in honor of Alice Curry. Pallbearers will be Christian Caudle, Christopher Caudle, Mark Willy, Stephen Perry, John Hanson, Christopher Emmitte.
