Leah Glaze, 44, of Angleton passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at her home. Leah Marie Fowler-Glaze was born December 25, 1973 to Kathleen Rhinelander in Bremerhaven, West Germany. She was adopted by LTC David and Mary Fowler who settled in Angleton to raise their family. Leah attended Northside Elementary, Angleton Middle School and graduated from Angleton High School in 1992. She attended Texas A&M, received her Associates of Science in Business Administration from Alvin Community College and her Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Leah spent 11 years in the healthcare industry before following her heart's calling and becoming an educator for her beloved Angleton ISD. Leah taught 5th and 6th grade science for 10 years before her health forced her to retire. She adored each of her students and fellow teachers. Leah always strived to learn and improve herself in the classroom. Leah married the love of her life Anthony Glaze in April of 1999 and inherited a beauty bonus daughter, Kendall. In 2001, Kamryn was born, and Karli completed the family in 2005. Leah spent all her spare time enjoying her friends and family. You would often find her in the stands at cattle shows or at the softball fields cheering on her girls and Anthony. Leah would often spend rare free time shopping and hanging out with friends. Leah‘s memory will be carried on by her husband-Anthony, daughters-Kendall, Kamryn and Karli, mother-Mary Fowler, birth mother-Kathleen Rheinlander, siblings-Kelly (Mac & Michael), John (Heather & Reagan), Branden (Stephanie & Isaiah), many cousins, aunts and uncles. Leah is preceded in death by her father, LTC David Lloyd Fowler. In celebration of Leah's life, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, 10:30 AM at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds Auditorium.
