Lena Mae Mcgowen

Lena Mae McGowen, 87, of Palacios formerly of Angleton, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2015 at Warm Springs Hospital in Victoria. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday July 20, 2015 at the Angleton Cemetery. Lena Mae was born in Natchitoches, LA to Evangeline and Cephise Beaudion on June 1, 1928. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. While living in Angleton she was a member of Northway Baptist Church. Lena Mae is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, George T. McGowen, her parents Evangeline and Cephise Beaudion, her brother Matthew Beaudion; sisters Annetta Belote and Verline Green. Lena Mae is survived by her brother Ronnie (Doris) Beaudion; sisters Eva Linder and Billie Anderson; sons George L. (Vicki) McGowen; Kenneth (Peggy) McGowen; Charles McGowen; Darryl (Barbara) McGowen ; daughter Judy (Steve) Marlin; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Ramos and the staff at Warm Springs Hospital of Victoria for their support in her final days.
