Leon Clifford Gibson went to be in heaven with his lord and savior Jesus on March 22, 2019 year of our lord. Born on November 7, 1960 in Fairfield, California to mother Kathleen Parsons and father Leo Gibson. Married to Nancy Sproles. Leon was a workaholic, loved to barbeque. He could build a house from the ground up and loved to drive. Leon is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Kathleen; two brothers Butch Gibson and Daryl Gibson; three sisters Sandra Kay Gibson, Karen Gibson, and Liz Gibson. Leon is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his 7 children, Clifford Gibson, Kandi Hanna, Daniel Gibson, Sunni Sproles, Amy Baird, Amanda Sproles, and Shawna Mendez, his siblings; Ginger Danford, Glenda Gibson, Debbie Kiley, Eddie Johnson, Billy Buchanan, Marty Buchanan, Brent Buchanan; his best friend Jessie Ortega as well as numerous other family and friends including his dog named Cowboy and 23 grandchildren. Viewing will be 5pm - 7pm Wednesday March 27th 2019 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Funeral services will be held at 1pm at Capitol Baptist Church in West West Columbia, on Thursday, March 28th.
