Leona Geraldine 'Jerri' Cook

Leona Geraldine (Jerri) Cook, born August 25, 1936, went to be with our Lord and Savior on March 7, 2012. Jerri was a resident of Angleton for 42 years. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; father, Houston Sullivan, mother, Johnny Sullivan, both of Amarillo, and daughter-in-law Cindy Cook of Angleton. Survivors include husband of 55 years, Tommy Cook; sister, Betty and husband C.W. Seago of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother, Harvey and wife Connie Sullivan of Plano, Texas; three sons, Kelly Joe and wife Jackie Cook of Liverpool, Kevin Cook of Angleton, Kerry and wife Evie Cook of Angleton. Grandchildren include Stephen and wife Amy and their two sons, Zachary and Hadley Cook of Angleton, Tommy Cook of Pearland, Samantha and husband Mike and daughter Madilyn Leago of Churchill; Montana and wife Samantha Cook and son Hunter Atwell of Angleton, and Kansas Cook of Angleton; step-grandchildren, Michelle Kelton of Dickenson, Shannon McCracken of Liverpool, and Kristi Rhodes of Dickenson. Visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held following the visitation on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at the Palms Funeral Home chapel. Burial Services will follow at the Angleton Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
