Leonardean Tomlin

Leonardean Tomlin, 87, of Angleton, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jarrell D. Tomlin; parents, James Leonard and Eunice Karen Knox Selman; sister, Maurice Havard (spouse) Don Havard; and daughter, Brenda Rhodes. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Nubb Selman (spouse) Laura Selman and Billy Don Selman (spouse) Patricia Selman; children, Randy Modisette, Kathy Modisette (spouse) David Ball, and Linda Lackey; grandchildren, Christina Collins, April Russo (spouse) Frank Russo, and Wendy Penney (spouse) Ross Penney; great grandchildren, Preston Collins, (spouse) Bailey Collins, Rachelle Bonner (spouse) Nolan Bonner, Kourtnee Russo, Alexx Russo, Nikki Russo, Cali Penney, and Mya Penney; great-great grandchildren, Bentley Collins and Joey Penney. Along with a host of other family members and dear friends. Leonardean, known as Deano to her friends, was born on September 26, 1934, in Alto, Texas. She managed a bowling alley for many years and competed on a team and in tournaments well into her seventies. Affectionately known as "Granny" to most, Leonardean loved everyone and was shown the same love in return. She never judged anyone she met, was honest and kind, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation and funeral service for Leonardean will be held at Palms Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 11, 2021. The visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until the service starts at 3:00 pm Service Details.
