Leslie Dean Heatherly With her family by her side, Leslie Dean Heatherly, 41, of Angleton went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2017. Leslie was born on June 29, 1976, in Houston, Texas to Ted Wayne Heatherly and Linda Smith Heatherly. She was a lifelong resident of Angleton. She loved children and worked for many years in the nursery at the First United Methodist Church in Angleton. Many of the children she kept have fond memories of their time with her and would give her hugs whenever they saw her, even as adults. She had three daughters of her own and was a very devoted and loving mother. Her children were her greatest joy. Her friends enjoyed her fun-loving nature, which always made them smile. She was very creative and enjoyed doing projects with her girls, whether helping them with school assignments or making corsages for homecoming. She also frequently helped her children's teachers from elementary all the way through graduation. She will also be remembered as a wonderful cook and enjoyed trying out new recipes. She had a very generous heart and selflessly shared with others in need. She is known for her strong sense of humor, always smiling and joking. Leslie took the lemons in her life and turned them into lemonade. She had the ability to always see the good in others and was a loyal friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Heatherly, her grandparents, Dorothy Patterson Smith, Herman Smith, Ted Heatherly, Sr, Eleanor Heatherly, and step-grandmother, Hazel Heatherly. She is survived by her daughters Alyssa Marie Heatherly, Taylor Ann Heatherly, and Victoria Dean Heatherly; her mother Linda Heatherly, and brother, Christopher Heatherly, of Monrovia, California; her aunt Debbie Knapp, uncle Patrick Smith of Great Falls, Virginia; cousins Col. Laura Knapp of Fort Hood, Susannah Ferguson of Houston, Alex Knapp of Austin, and Emily Smith of Santa Barbara, California. Funeral services will be held at First Methodist Church, 219 N.
