Lester Harriman

Lester William Harriman, age 87, of Bartlesville, OK, formerly of Angleton, TX entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Bartlesville. He was born April 3, 1926 in Shawnee, OK. After graduating from high school in Caney, KS he entered World War II in the United States Army Air Corps. He was employed with Dow Chemical, working in Engineering and Construction Services, Dow USA, for 43 years until his retirement in 1994. Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie of 49 years, and daughter, Cathy Harriman Luce. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Phyllis Gorley Tingler Harriman; son Karl Harriman and wife Susan; son-in-law Earl Hoyt Luce; stepsons Gary Tingler, and Ray Tingler and wife Terri; grandchildren Travis Luce, Amanda Luce Ardoin and husband Josh, Ashley Harriman, and Natalie Harriman; his brother Bob Harriman and wife Naomi; and many beloved nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home, 2300 E. Hwy 35 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2014. Graveside service celebrating Lester's life will be held at Angleton Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014.
