LILLIAN PLENTL Lillian Helen Psencik Plentl was born on August 18, 1921 in Kovar, Texas to Charles and Sophie Psencik. She entered heaven's gates to join her loved ones on December 18, 2012. Lillian was raised in Kovar, and was the oldest of six children. She was the first baby to be baptized in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kovar, a small community church built on land donated by her grandfather and with lumber donated by her grandfather's mill. This little church was featured in the major motion picture "Hope Floats". Lillian married Perry F. Plentl in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 16, 1942 prior to his deployment overseas with the U.S. Army Air Corp. She returned home to await his return and gave birth to their first child on their first anniversary. Three more children were born to their union, Linda Ann, Perry Plentl, Jr. and Kenneth Plentl. Lillian and Perry moved to Angleton in 1953 where Perry was a custom home builder. Lillian was a homemaker and volunteer for her church as well as other organizations during her life. She often worked along with Perry on various projects and was a pretty good painter and cabinet finisher.
