Linda Carol Smith, 62, of Angleton passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Victoria. Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 12, 2015 in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery. Visitation will from 11:30 until service time at Palms. Linda was born January 8, 1953 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Billy Ray & Merlene (Payne) Fritts., who preceded her in death along with her brother, William Fritts. She worked as a waitress at Smithhearts in Angleton for many years, attended 2nd Baptist Church in Angleton and loved Elvis Presley music. Survivors include her daughters; Shirley Smith of Angleton & Sabrina Church & her husband Steven Church of Victoria, her brother, Ricky Fritts, Sr. Grandchildren; Melissa Ochoa, Silvia Ochoa, Belinda Church, Jaime Church & George Ochoa, Jr. and 11 Great- Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Steven Church, Jaime Church, George Ochoa, Sr., George Ochoa, Jr., Gregory Brown, and Zachery Taylor. Arrangements by Palms Funeral Home ~ Angleton, Texas 979-849-4343.
