Linda Gayle Parsons Linda Gayle Parsons, 67, of Angleton Texas passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family after a brief but valiant battle with lung cancer on Thursday October 9, 2014. Linda was born on January 20, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas and later moved to Lake Jackson where she attended school, graduating from Angleton High School where she played volleyball. Linda worked for the Kroger Company for 20 years before retiring. Linda was a remarkable woman. Her strength, kindness and generosity were felt by anyone who was lucky enough to call her family or a friend. Her greatest passions were her family, her dogs, shopping, casinos and watching football. Linda is survived by her loving husband Horace Parsons of Angleton; daughter, Susan Garlington and partner Jackson Lynch of Houston and Austin; brothers, Billy T. Miller of Angleton; Johnny M. Miller and wife, Margaret of Farmersville, Louisiana; sister, Carol Celestine and husband Sadler of Alvin; sister-in-law, Mary Alice Czarowitz and husband Michael of Friendswood; nieces Lisa Fiess and husband Jody and their daughters Emily and Maddox of Pearland; Stacie Hardy of Alvin; Kelli Moore and husband Steve and children Trenton, Rhett, Hattie and Georgie of LaGrange; Nancy Lee and husband Robert and their son Christian of Seabrook; Natatia Harvey and husband Robert and their children Lacey, Nikki and Tommy of Friendswood; Mary Williams and her children Ridge, Logan and Joshua of Angleton; nephews Thomas Williams and wife Heather and their son T.J. of Poteet; Brandon Miller and wife Lauren and children Erika, Keeli, Deja, Dax, Kacen and Fallon of Bastrop; Jace Miller and wife Mandy and children Kylee, Braxton, McKenna and Bristyl of Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Franklin and Lovie Mae Miller; son Travis Scott Parsons; in-laws Horace and Mary Odell Parsons; sister-in-law, Judy Parsons; and by her dogs Bink, Bebe, Toby, Tiny and Baxter Memorial services are planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton with Pat Garrett officiating. Horace and Susan wish to thank Dr. Khan at Brazosport Memorial Hospital, her hospice care givers and especially Carol and Sadler Celestine for opening their home to us during hospice care, Billy Miller for all his help and Mary Alice Czarowitiz for her love and help.
