Lois Dean Harris

April 21, 1936 — April 24, 2014

Lois "Dean" Woodard Harris, 78 of Angleton passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home. She was born April 21, 1936 in Pulaski, Tennessee to D.A. & Rachel Ann Griffis. Dean operated a daycare in her home for over 30 years, raising multiple generations of children. She traveled to exotic destinations all over the world with her husband Cliff just to find that perfect shell. Spending time at the beach was in her nature and she would say "Let's go to the beach and let the waves wash away all my worries." She was a member of numerous organizations including: the Brazoria County Sea Shell Searchers, Houston Concology Society, Coastal Bend Shell Club, San Antonio Shell Club, and the Concology Society of America.
