Loretta Ann Filipp, 80 of Danbury entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, June 24, 2018 surrounded by her loving husband Benjamin and family. Loretta was born in Slidell, LA on December 12, 1937 to Eugene and Christine Dubuisson. She moved to Danbury in 1956 and met the love of her life Benjamin Filipp. They were married on March 2, 1958 and just celebrated their 60th anniversary. She is survived by her husband, Children: Gwen Fief (Paul), Shay Roberts (Gene), Roxanne Walch (Tim), Kevin Filipp (Kristin), Lanette Roye (Joey) and daughter-in-law Linda Filipp. Grandchildren: Amber Kroschel (Roger), Brice Fief, Cole Fief (Rebekah), Capree Young (Kyle), Megan Dunleavy (Sean), Kara Filipp, Sydney and Trace Filipp, Stewart, Haden, Clare, and Emma Roye Great-Grandchildren: Abbey, Max, and Case Kroschel, Oliver Fief, Lexi, Michael, and Reed Fief, Caroline, Fisher, and Brooks Young She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Keith Filipp, granddaughters: Brandi and Brittani Roberts, sisters: Theresa Canulette, Anita Salvage, Valentine Miller, Jeanie Heiman, Lucille Cauley, Lelia Mae Galloway, Rosie Rist, and Elvina Dubuisson, brothers: Harold and Bernard Dubuisson In her younger years she enjoyed having a beautiful yard and bowling. She loved spending time with her family and gambling trips to Louisiana and Mississippi. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury. Her Christian faith was very strong and is very evident in the family she raised, so they are all at peace knowing she is now in Heaven. She will be missed so much by many. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 starting at 5:00PM with rosary at 7:00PM at St. Anthony's in Danbury. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00AM with burial to follow at St. Anthony's cemetery.
