Lucia Chapa Valenzuela

Lucia Chapa Valenzuela, 73, of Danbury passed away on September 19, 2021. Lucy was born on September 29, 1947 in Taylor to parents Joe and Helen (Gaitan) Chapa. Lucy enjoyed baking and cooking for family, visiting friends, and going to the movies. She loved her red birds, plants, hummingbirds, and collecting rocks from her travels. She was a spiritual lady who associated with other groups, religions, and every walk of life. She enjoyed working in her community and the Danbury School District. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many family and friends. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Helen Chapa. Left to treasure her memory include her children: Mary Helen Renovato, Debbie Valenzuela, Steven Valenzuela and wife Cathy, Christine Valenzuela, and Michael Valenzuela and wife Lyndsie, Charles Valenzuela; brother: Robert Chapa. Grandchildren: Jessie Jr., Timo, Alex, Kasandra, Christopher, Jordan, Jeremy, Christian, Lauren, Sophie, Colton, Joseph, Elaina, Katelyn, Logan, and Bella. Great-Grandchildren: Ethan, Ilymay, Lincon, Sophia, Olivia, Aria, Abrey, Kaizley, Rhyanna Service Details. Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake.
