Lucille Beryl Cannon

Lucille Beryl Cannon, 84, of Bonney passed away Friday April 13, 2018 in Houston. She was a loving & devoted wife, mother & grandmother. Lucille Beryl was born August 9, 1933 in Houston, Texas to Lloyd Carlton & Lucille Beryl Schultz Willett. She married Elmer Murray Cannon, Jr on January 21, 1955 in Houston and moved to Bonney in 1956. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rosharon for 61 years, where she served as Church clerk and organist. Beryl loved music and blessed many with her voice. Her parents and brother, Lloyd Carlton Willett, Jr preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elmer Cannon, Jr. Children; Michael E. Cannon & wife Katherine, Hazel L Mashaw & husband Jimmy, Brenda G. Cannon & Melody A Cannon Baird & husband Bill. Grandchildren; Jessica Lane & husband Brandon, Jenny Powers, Russell Cannon & wife Brittany, Amy Cannon, Hannah & Grace Baird. Great-grandchildren; Kelci Mashaw, Caleb, Cara & Collin Cox, Caden Powers & Trevor Lane. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday April 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Rosharon with Pastor Al Perry officiating. There will be a private family burial. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to 1st Baptist Church of Rosharon.
