Lucio Silguero, 97, of Angleton, Texas passed away on May 22, 2021, at his home in Angleton. He was born to Gerardo and Cruz (Hernandez) Silguero on March 4, 1924, in Harlingen, Texas. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3rd at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, located at 1713 North Tinsley St. in Angleton, Texas. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 2nd from 5:00pm - 6:00 pm at Palms Funeral home in Angleton, Texas with a rosary to begin at 6:30 pm. Lucio Silguero served as a Field Radio Operator in the US Army during WWII. He was a hard-working man who was a Great Grandfather and admirable Father. He had 12 Children, 33 Grand Children, 57 Great-Grandchildren, and 39 Great-Great Grandchildren. He loved all his family so much. He gave everyone their very own nick name. Everyone knew him as DODO. Lucio is Survived by his Children Virginia Aguilar, Doris Aguilar, Ester Silguero, Stella & Joe Tovar, Isabelle & Frank Soria, Silvester & Janie Silguero, Jerry & Amelia Silguero, Roy Silguero, Ray & Marian Silguero, and Eugene Silguero- Michelle Lamb. He is preceded in death by his wife Armanda Alessandra Silguero (Montina), and his sons Roy and Jimmy Silguero. Pall Bearers will be his sons Ray Silguero Sr., Jerry Silguero Sr., Silvester Silguero Sr., Eugene Silguero Sr., Roy Silguero, his son in law Frank Soria and his grandsons Lucio Soria, Sylvester Silguero Jr., Eugene Silguero, Jr., & Ray Silguero, Jr. He will be missed so much, especially by his grandchildren he held a special place in all their hearts and his last name will always live through them!
