Lucilla Ann "Lucy" Waters Goforth Whitt of Gainesville, Georgia formerly of Angleton, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Gainesville, Georgia. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jacob Espey, John Criswell, Bubba Ryan, Dustin Edwards, Joe Ortiz, and Gavin Rios. She was born November 4, 1944 in Sebring, Florida to Candaise and Leon Waters. Lucy retired from Hewlett-Packard Computer Company after 25 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Frank Harrell and Travis Waters and her children Deborah Ann Goforth and Kevin Eugene Goforth. Lucy is survived by her husband Terry Whitt of Gainesville, Georgia, her daughters Tammy (Philip) Brooks, Lisa Espey (Larry) Spears of Angleton, Texas and Her sons Rob Whitt, James (Megan) Whitt all of Charlotte, North Carolina. Grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Criswell, Alison Clawson (Ryver ), Ashley Brooks, Krystal Brooks (Joe Ortiz), Sarah Edwards (Dustin), Kourtney Brooks (fiance Javier Chavez), Brooke Ryan (Bubba), Jacob Espey and Rhonda Espey (Alexa). Her children's father Gene Goforth, Her sister Yvonne Gill (Burl). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, her special friend and hairdresser for over 25 years John Kelley, her beloved dogs and many other relatives and friends. Mom loved traveling, gambling, her kids and grandkids and enjoyed her time with the love of her life Terry. We love you Mom, (Baby as Terry calls you) and we find comfort knowing your resting in the arms of Jesus. Service Details.
