In Loving Memory Of Lydia Vela Garza February 16, 1937 ~ December 12, 2022 Lydia Vela Garza of Rosharon, Texas, passed away peacefully at Cypress Woods Care Center in Angleton, Texas at the age of 85. She was born to her parents: Generoso and Susana (Vela) Garza in Mercedes, Texas on February 16, 1937. Lydia was a loving mother and grandma. When she wasn't spending time loving on her family, Lydia loved spending time fishing and making tamales for all to enjoy. The family will have a private memorial service for Lydia at a later date. Left to cherish Lydia's memory is her son, Cruz Flores, Sr. (wife, Yolanda), her grandchildren: Cruz Flores, Jr., Sonia Hernandez, and Alfonso Flores. Also left to remember Lydia is her siblings: Guadalupe Garza, Juan Garza, Olga Garza, Alicia Mata, Ophelia Cruz and Olivia Adams.
