Macario Gaona

On Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 9:30 am, Macario Gaona gained his heavenly wings, with his family by his bed side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Juanita Gaona, his loving first wife, Olivia Ann Gaona, and daughter Dale Ann Vernor. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana Espinosa; daughters, Diana Gaona (Roy), Dora Gaona, Jessica Soria (David), Kendra Boniaby; sons, Dave Gaona, Danny Gaona, Joel Gaona, Kenton Boniaby; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren. Macario was born on March 10, 1945, in Alamo, Texas, to Jose and Juanita Gaona. He worked in transport services and Mission Petroleum for over 25 years. He will forever be missed by his family, friends, and those he has touched. Macario's life, inspiration, and legacy will live on for years to come. A visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a rosary at 6:30 pm.
