Mardell McGee Marcantel, 83, of Angleton went to be with our Lord on Sunday, October 4, 2015. She was born to Jessie & Florence McGee on November 12, 1931 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 6-8:00 p.m. in Palms Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Palms Funeral Home, with graveside service to follow in Kinder, Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. She was preceded by her beloved husband, Hollis G. Marcantel, Sr., parents Jessie & Florence McGee, children; Tracey Marcantel, infant Marcantel, siblings Louise Moore, Jessie Lee Piazzo, Jimmy McGee, and her beloved grand-daughter, Brandi Marcantel, great granddaughter Mary Byrd, great grandson Michael Tolle. She is survived by her sons Hollis Glenn Marcantel, Jr. and wife Marilyn Marcantel, Kerry Marcantel and wife Connie Marcantel, Donnie Jo Marcantel and wife Debbie Marcantel, twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, sisters Josephine Phillips, Barbara Ann Tate, and brothers Jessie H.
