In Loving Memory

Of

Margaret Janice Davis

November 23, 1956 ~ November 28, 2023

Margaret Janice Davis, 67, of Angleton, Texas passed away on November 28, 2023 in Angleton. She was born on November 23, 1956, in Wharton, Texas to Martin and Margaret Walker. She was a member of the community for 41 years coming from Nederland, Texas. Margy was a cherished member of Angleton Church of Christ.

Margy was a joyful soul! Her bold, bright energy and infectious laugh made every gathering feel like a celebration. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by family and friends. She did everything she could to make each person feel welcome and make each gathering special.

Margy was an adventurer! She got joy from beauty of nature, from the calming lap of the ocean to the changing of the leaves. She loved exploring and finding awe in the natural gifts God bestowed upon the Earth.

Margy was a servant in all aspects of her life. From volunteering with the youth, feeding the church, and going on missionary work to the loving care she gave her family, she knew that being a servant was her calling. Margy loved showing care and support to young people and was the most amazing cheerleader and comforter to her daughter.

Margy was honest and flawed. She found strength in the chances she had to share her vulnerability with others and journey in their struggles together. She had such a loving, beautiful heart and constantly worked to grow that loving heart for her Lord, trusting He would in return bless her in ways she couldn't imagine.

How blessed we were to have someone so beautiful and so real in our lives!

She was preceded in death by her father Martin Walker.

Those left to cherish her memories is her husband, Joe Davis who she married on June 3, 1977 in Bay City, Texas. Her daughter Jennifer Davis, her mother, Margaret Walker, brothers Marty Walker (Carrie) and Mark Walker (Rhonda), her sisters Marcy Crowder (Chris) and Marla Allen (Stanley) will all cherish the memories they have of Margy.

'She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.' - Proverbs 31:25
