Maria Cristina Soria

Maria Cristina (Garza) Soria, 81, of Angleton went home to her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2021. She began her life journey on November 26, 1939 in Roma, Texas where she was born to parents Porfirio and Dolores (Escobar) Garza. In her lifetime she enjoyed Selling Avon, coffee, dancing, singing, shopping, garage sales, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. Those that preceded her in death include her husband Galeo Soria, parents: Porfirio and Dolores Garza, son Rene Estrada; 1 sister, and 6 brothers. Left to treasure her memory include her children, Luis (Bertha) Estrada; Ramiro (Rosie) Estrada; Janie (Luis) Garcia; Mary C. Trevino; and Roy (Maria) Estrada; her sister, Emma Macias; 24 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at 2 pm with Rosary at 3 pm at Palms Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Estrada, Ramiro Estrada, Roy Estrada, Robert Rosilez, Roy Estrada, Jr., Jose Luis Estrada, and Frank Trevino.
