Maria Sedillo Villarreal went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2016 at the age of 92. She passed away at Creekside Village nursing home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on November 13, 1924 in Pierce, TX to Carlos and Guadalupe Sedillo of Wharton, TX. She was the wife of Julian Espinoza Villarreal, Sr. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening, dancing and cooking for her family. She had a strong faith and was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church. She is survived by her six children: Daughters; Connie Cabarrubia (Junior), Teresa Cantu (Joe), Yolanda Hyman (Walter), Eva Villarreal and Sons: Gilbert Villarreal (Sharla) and Julian Villarreal, Jr. (Sophia), Grandchildren (18), Great-grandchildren (30) and Great-great-grandchildren (8) as well as numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian Villarreal, Sr., her baby boy who passed away at birth and her parents. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, December 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Public Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 5-8:00 p.m. and a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. in Palms Funeral Home. Serving as Pallbearers: Grandsons Tony Cabarrubia, Rudy Cabarrubia, Andy Cabarrubia, Raymond Damian, Jr. Gabriel Bravo, Benny Bravo, Gilbert Villarreal, Jr., Great-grandson Tommy Garcia, Jr. and Nephew Robert Villarreal.
