Maria Trevino Garza

Maria Trevino Garza, 72, of Angleton, Texas passed away on October 6, 2015 at her home. She was born December 21, 1942 in Mercedes, Texas to Epigmenio "Shorty" & Sara (Garcia) Trevino. Services are scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel. The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Maria was a loving mom and grandmother. She was known as a great cook. She had a unique individual bond with each one of her children and grandchildren. Maria held her family close and was the protector of her family. She took pride in her appearance. She never left the house without her make-up being just right. She met the love of her life, Isaac Garza at a dance and after a short 3 month courtship they were married and their love held true for 47 years. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers; Eloy Trevino, Eli Trevino, Epigmenio Trevino, Jr., and Eddie Trevino. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Isaac Garza, son, Martin Edward Deleon and his wife Cynthia, her daughters; Millie Saenz, Ericka Rickie Fullbright, Amanda Adkins and her husband Bryan, her brother, Alex Trevino and his wife Jody, her sister, Mini Trevino, as well as six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
