Marian Howard Goff passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.
Marian was born on March 26, 1946, to Ivan LeGrande and Rose Elizabeth Howard in Denton County, Texas.
Marian graduated from Angleton High School in 1964 where she was a member of the pep squad, drama club and choir where she served as choir vice president her senior year. She later served as a draftsman at NASA.
In the early 70s, Marian went to work at Angleton Danbury General Hospital as a medical technologist in the laboratory where she was employed for 17 years.
She then went to work for TDC-J where she retired as a paramedic liaison.
In November 1980, Marian served as a founding member of the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps, where she later served as assistant chief and board secretary, among many other roles. She retired from AAEMC in 2009 after 29 years of volunteer service as a paramedic. She continued her service with AAEMC in many capacities, including as an instructor and assisting the board of directors.
Marian was always the life of the party and lived for fast cars and great music. She lived a life of service, which was evident in her years at the hospital and above all, her passion for AAEMC. Marian was considered everyone’s mom, and most importantly, everyone’s Nana.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Susan Goff Richards (Joel) of Huffman, Texas, son Ronald Goff of Angleton, Texas, granddaughter Randi Goff (Chris Moore) of Austin, Texas, grandson Marcus Roberts (Burgandy) of Sugarland, Texas, grandson Tristan Richards of Tomball, Texas, dear friends Lucille Maes of Angleton, Texas, and Rosemary Kirk of Lake Jackson, Texas.
