Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Palms Funeral Home. Marinell was born Aug. 8, 1951 in Quanah, Texas and passed away April 24, 2019 in Houston. She was preceded in by her mother, Charlotte Freeby, 2 brothers, son, Richard Smith, and grandson, Matthew Smith. Marinell is survived by her children; Tammy Toon and husband, Robert of Angleton, Chris Smith and wife, Kathy of Leander, Melanie Scott and husband, Phillip, Heather Brewer and husband, Ryan, and David Smith all of Angleton, brother, Charles Freeby of California, sister, Luwana Westover and husband, David of McKinney, grandchildren; Danny, Brandon, Timothy, Malia, Jake, serving in the US Navy, Trent, Justin, Mykah, Jessica and Charli, great grandchildren; Micah, Tracie, Rylee and Hunner.
