Marion Juanita Singleton 7/17/28-4/25/16, preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years. Joseph C. Singleton Sr. She was born to William Granger Alford and Mary Pruitt of Bowling Green, Ky. Marion is survived by six siblings and seven children. Brinda Finke, Larry Spencer, Cindy Singleton Chandler, Joey Singleton, Kim Babik, James Singleton and Lynn Toledo. Nineteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked as a teen for General Electric during the WWll War effort. Marion raised her children then rejoined the workforce. Bookkeeping for Perry's 5 & 10 cent store. Then on to drive a school bus for AISD. She was a volunteer for the Women's Center here in Angleton and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Services are set for Monday May 2nd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Visitation will be held from 11am-1:00 p.m. at Palms funeral home in Angleton. Interment will be in Angleton Cemetery.
