Mark Edward Stoltenberg

Mark Edward Stoltenberg, 36, passed away on January 2, 2022 at his home in Trophy Club, Texas. He was born on May 28, 1985 and is the son of Craig and Camille Stoltenberg of Angleton, Texas. He is also survived by his girlfriend Shannon Adaway and his brother Clint Stoltenberg. His uncles and aunts include Mark Stoltenberg of Lake Jackson, Craig and Gena Kooken of Frisco and Hal and Mattilou Kooken of Huntsville. He has many cousins and friends that were a huge part of his life. Mark graduated from Angleton High School in 2003. He attended Brazosport College and in 2006, he enlisted in the United States Marines. Mark was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He deployed 3 times and was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He served as a Flight Equipment Technician with the HMH-363. He was honorably discharged as Sergeant in 2012. Mark moved to Austin for 6 years and then moved to the Grapevine/Trophy Club area to begin work for JB Warranties. Mark was extremely proud of being a Marine and his patriotism was shown throughout his adult life. He had many Marine brothers and friends. Many have said that through his humor and friendship, he made life enjoyable for them. Mark loved to hunt, fish, garden, travel, play disc golf, barbeque, and to get together with his friends and family. His beloved companion, Duke, was a big part of his life as well. A celebration of Mark's life with his close friends, family and Marine brothers will be held later in the Spring/Summer. Service Details.
