Marta Dominguez Ramos Funeral services for Marta Dominguez Ramos, 77, of Angleton will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 14th at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 13th at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with rosary to follow. Marta was born July 29, 1941 in Dilley, Texas to Jose and Francisca Dominguez and passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Thursday, August 9, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. Marta was a loving daughter, mom, aunt, grandmother ("Biba"), and friend to many as she never met a stranger. Marta was a devout Catholic and a member of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters Court #2124. Marta moved to San Antonio in 2003 to accept a job transfer with Board of Pardon and Paroles and remained in San Antonio until July 2018. Even though her job took her away from her grandchildren, she still found time to attend many of their activities including plays, band competitions, and many sports activities. While in she was in San Antonio, Marta was extremely active at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and made many close friends whom she loved dearly. Marta was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Maricela Dominguez, and her sister-in-law Maria Dominguez. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa "Missy" Romero and husband Gilbert of Pearland, Melanie Christian and husband Andy of Angleton, and Marlyse "Mandy" Ramos of San Antonio, and her grandchildren Meagan, Cristian, and Camren Romero and Drew Christian. She is also survived by her brothers Pete Dominguez and wife Bertha of Boerne and Noe Dominguez of Edinburg as well as several nieces and one nephew. Pallbearers will be her sons-in-law and grandchildren. The family would like to thank MD Anderson Sarcoma Department and A-Med Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother for the short time of care they provided for her. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society or any charity of your choice.
