Martha Faye Sibley

Martha Faye Berel Sibley, 87, of Angleton gained her angel wings on February 28, 2021. She was born July 27, 1933 in Florien, Louisiana to Samuel and Nettie Berel. She married J.B. Sibley on October 16, 1952 in Florien, Louisiana and then they came to make Angleton their home. She retired from Sears and Roebuck after 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Angleton. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Sibley, siblings; Bettie Cobb, Dean Berel and Joseph Berel. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Peterson and husband, James, Judy Savage and significant other, Scott Allman, sister, Linda Sue Summers, Webster, sister in laws, Delma Sibley of DeRidder, Louisana and Freida Sibley of Cascade, Montana, brother in law, Lavern Cobb of Kingwood. Grandson, Heath Peterson and wife Wendy of Nacogdoches, Granddaughters, Amy Gregory and husband, David of Weston Lakes, Heather Savage and Haylei Savage of Conroe. Four great grandsons, Kade Peterson, Jhett and Kash Gregory and Levi Aguirre and one great granddaughter, Londyn Gregory and a host of nephews and nieces. She never failed to tell everyone that her and J.B. had been married for 68 years and that it was all because of their love for their Lord. Thank you to all the staff at County Village Care at Parkside for her care. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and a graveside service after at Angleton Cemetery.
