Mary Jane (Thurman) Boyles-Click was born in Mooreland, Oklahoma on February 19, 1928, and peacefully passed into her life in eternity on January 25, 2024, in her home in Angleton, Texas at the age of 95.
Mary Jane is survived by her daughter Susanne Lancello and son-in-law Phillip (Phil) Lancello, her son William (Billy) Boyles; grandchildren- Tara Partlow (Randy), Heather Schlitzkus (Jeff), Mary Sembera, Helisha Boyles, Weldon Boyles, and Willie Boyles; great grandchildren- Katelynn Hurst (Donnovan), Austin Schlitzkus (Jessalyn), Paul Luna, Gabrielle Schlitzkus, and Keylee Sembera (Carson Kremling); great-great grandchildren- Haaken Schlitzkus, Winter Luna, Barrett Schlitzkus, Charlotte Kremling, and Olive Hurst.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her son Larry and her husband Lt. Colonel Wilford Leslie Boyles.
Mary Jane modeled a life of strength, resilience, and perseverance for all who knew her. She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, shopping for the absolute best bargains or discounts and was an avid learner/reader all her days. She was always involved in her local church and was a faithful giver and supporter of many charitable organizations. She loved listening to the stories of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she will be incredibly missed by all those she leaves behind.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 4:30 pm at Palms Funeral Home, Angleton, TX. Mary Jane will be buried with her late husband, Lt. Colonel Wilford Leslie Boyles at Houston National Cemetery.
