Mary Lea Reichel, 77 of Danciger, TX went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2015 in Lake Jackson, TX. She was born to Martin & Bessie Mae (Fleming) Shofner on December 3, 1937 in Center, TX. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. with Funeral Service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Billie Jean Shofner Livingston and husband Leon, sister-in-law Carol Shofner. Mary became a Registered Nurse in 1958 after Graduating from Lillie Jollie School of Nursing in Houston Baptist Hospital. She worked in the Emergency Department at Angleton-Danbury Hospital for 21yrs, and was certified as a Trauma Nurse. She loved painting, flowers & hummingbirds. Mary is survived by her husband of 54 years, William "Jerry" Reichel, sons William Scott Reichel (Cheri) & Patrick A. Reichel (Colleen). Brothers Del Shofner, James R. Shofner (Rose), sisters Edna Ruth Shofner Birdwell (Bryant), Linda Henderson (Joe), Kathy Howard (Dewy). Three grandchildren Travis, Tyler & Samantha as well as numerous family & friends.
