Matilda Luna

On February 24, 1934 a daughter was born to Ramon & Ambrosia Segura in Richmond, TX who they named Matilda Segura. Matilda grew up in Richmond, TX where she worked many years for BASF, and retired from Danbury ISD where she was a custodian for many years. She was united to Mike Luna Sr. for 21 years and to that union 8 children were born; Mary Ester Wiggins (Oliver) of Houston, Mike Luna Jr. (Virginia) of Angleton, Lydia Harris of Lake Jackson, Johnny Luna (Yolanda) of Angleton, Doris James of Austin, David Luna Sr. of Angleton, four sister; Elidia Faulkner (Charles) of California, Lucy Luna (Carlos), Neives Damian, & Teresa Jasso all of Angleton. Two brothers; Robert Segura of West Columbia & Paul Segura Sr. (Eloisa) of Angleton. She also leaves 43 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great-grandchildren. Matilda went to meet her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother; Ambrosia, father; Ramon, husband; Mike Luna Sr., son; Manuel Luna and daughter; Nora Luna Willis. A public Visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m. Thursday, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services are planned for Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Angleton, TX with burial to follow in Angleton Cemetery.
