Maxine Elizabeth Reed

Elizabeth "Maxine" (Maxey) Reed, 77, of Angleton, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2018. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton, Texas. Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM. Maxine was born in Midland, Texas on June 23, 1941. Maxine moved to Brazoria County with her family and several families in the mid 60's from the Texas Panhandle seeking work in the chemical plants. Maxine loved spending her time fishing, junking, visiting the casinos or bingo halls, watching sports, and her favorite football teams and mostly spending quality time with her friends and family. She never met a stranger and had the kindest loving spirit. Maxine is survived by her children, Joe Taylor and wife Donna of Churchill, Texas, Warren West and Kirsten of Timmonsville, South Carolina and Oleta Dick and husband Bobby of Pearland, Texas; her grandchildren Kristian Livingston and Jason, Joseph Livingston and wife Anna, Andrea Luna and husband Andrew, Cady West, Aimee West, Sara Elizabeth Porter and husband, Cameron, Vincent Reynolds and BJ, Ryan Reynolds and Rennie, Tracy Reynolds, extended family Justin Dick and wife, Dianna, Bryan Dick and wife, Amber; Jennifer Dick along with 24 great grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings Bobby Dale Helton and wife Wanda, Gary Dean Maxey and wife Pat of Amarillo, Texas, Pam Williams and husband, Danny of Gatesville, Texas; Warren "WD" Maxey and wife Andie, Ruby Meyers and husband Paul of Buena Vista, Colorado. Maxine was loved by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Maxine is preceded in death by her daughter Kimberly Kay Livingston, grandson, Josh Matusek, father Malcolm Maxey, mother Agnes Townsend, brothers Phil Helton, Johnny Helton, Mac Maxey and sisters Joyce Sutton, Wanda Rowlett, Mary Moore Service Details.
