In Loving Memory Of Mayme Illeene Burke October 19, 1936 ~ May 28, 2022 Mayme Illeene Burke went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2022, at the age of 85. She was born on October 19, 1936 in Galena Park, Texas to her parents Clyde and Malinda (Reynolds) Graff. Mayme was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, GG, and friend to many. She lived her life to the fullest; enjoying traveling, playing cards and dominos, hosting gatherings for family and friends, and regularly attending church on sabbath. She was always there to help when someone was in need and helped others often. She worked for many years for the USPS and especially enjoyed it when she was a clerk and interacted with customers, as this brought her great joy. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, always offering an encouraging word to uplift those around her. Mayme is survived by her children Jeana Aaron and her husband Arnold, Louis Honeycutt, DIL Evonne Honeycutt; five grandchildren Lauren Shuttlesworth, AJ Honeycutt, Trey Honeycutt, Joseph Aaron, Maddison Yates and eight great grandchildren all of whom loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Harold Burke and her daughter Dena Honeycutt. A memorial service to honor Mayme's life will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at 6pm, at Galena Park Church of God (Seventh Day), 1203 Main Street, Galena Park, TX 77547.
