Meri Suzan Alonzi-Noe

May 6, 1958 — August 27, 2018

Meri Suzan Alonzi-Noe, 60, gained her Guardian Angel Wings, Monday August 27, 2018. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness…" 2 Timothy 4:7. Indeed, the good fight is what she fought. Never in the four years of her battle with cancer did she ever complain or become discouraged. She was determined to go on and live every day to the fullest. Mom always said, "It's just a test." She aced every one. Suzan loved to be around people, never meeting a stranger. She didn't have to know you to strike up a conversation. She was kind to everyone and treated everyone as family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Often times if you saw her she had at least one of the grandchildren with her. Suzan loved to spend her time helping and supporting their many activities. From football, baseball, soccer, dance, robotics, crafting, 4H, and many other activities, you could find her there supporting them and all the many other kids. She was the best Nawna to her grandchildren and many others. Suzan also enjoyed spending time with her friends playing bingo. She looked forward to those nights out with the girls and loved them so very much. One of the places she wanted to visit during her time on earth was Mt. Rushmore. In the summer of 2017, her husband, Mike, made sure that happened. He loaded up the RV, and the whole family took a long road trip. She was so happy to get to spend this time with all of her grandchildren in tow. If you ever encountered, spent any amount of time with, or just heard about Suzan, you know- to know her was to love her. Suzan was born Tuesday May 6, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Arthur Alonzi and Othel Viola "Jerre" Inglis. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jerry Alonzi and Jamey Alonzi. Surviving to carry out her legacy are her husband Mike Noe, daughters Heather Peltier and Mitchell, Nicole Blanchard and Marcel, her beloved grandchildren Brant and Brinley Peltier, and Garrett, Isabelle and Brooklyn Blanchard. Also surviving her are her sister Jonai Thomas (Brien Adams), her nieces Jessica Thomas (Brent Short), Kiley Thomas (Tanner Cude), her great nieces Keira, Crysten and Adeline Short and soon to be here Codi Cude. Suzan also leaves loving relatives and friends whom she loved so much. She will be counting on ALL of us to be kind and live each day to the fullest.
