Michael "Mike" Bargas, 64, of Danbury, Texas, passed away on August 31, 2021. He was born in El Campo, Texas, on August 20, 1957, to the late, Victor and Tonie Ochoa Bargas. Left to cherish Mike's memory are his loving wife of 24 years, Margaret Vrazel Bargas; sons, Michael Bargas, of Pearland, and Philip Bargas and wife, Amanda, of College Station; and sister, Rosemary Bozart and husband, Marvin, of Utah. Mike always said there was no such thing as stepchildren, so continuing with his extended family. Sons, Steven Breaux and wife, Rachael, of Alvin, Jeremy Breaux and wife, Dawn, of Colorado, and Adam Breaux of Arizona; daughters, Stacie Oswald and husband, Kirk of Danbury, and Krista Breaux of Danbury; grandchildren, Sean and Sarah Bargas, of Pearland, Adrian, Gabriel and Vera Bargas, of College Station, Ali & Cody Breaux of Alvin, Kacie Baker and husband, Chase of Danbury, Zane, Rane, Lacie, and Jacie Oswald, of Danbury, Tranton Breaux, of West Columbia; Slayton, Kalista, and Tessa Breaux, of Colorado; lots of brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. Mike was an honest and hardworking gentleman. He was always true to his word at home and at work. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The visitation for Mike will take place at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Danbury, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 5 pm to 7 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Danbury, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. The family will be wearing golf shirts in honor of Mike and would love if everyone who could, would do the same. At this time, St. Anthony's Catholic Church is requiring that everyone wear a mask.
